It is difficult to comprehend that these images are not oil paintings or 3D builds, but they are photographs of the world that we live in. French photographer, Sarah Martinet, has really stepped outside of her comfort zone with this series of aerial landscapes. By taking a trip to the landscapes of Iceland, she has captured some of the finest elements of the Nordic environment.

To capture these stunning images, Martinet, hung herself out of an airplane to allow every shot to be unobstructed and crystal clear. The vast expanse, detail and colour that have been so beautifully preserved with these images gives the viewer something to marvel over for hours.
